3 Steps to Judge AI Images Yourself
Three Steps to Evaluate AI Images
- Set the priority of the image’s goals first
- Essential goals (basic role): Stand out in the feed and make users stop scrolling.
- Optional goals (added value): Inspire trust and make people think, “I want to hire this person for design.”
- After confirming that the essential conditions are met, evaluate the optional conditions.
- Turn the article’s core problem into a single visual question
- Trying to compress everything in the article into one image causes information overload.
- Instead of conveying complex content, simplify it into one scene centered on the relationship readers are most likely to question. For example: “How closely should we share work information with AI?”
- Compare three options using the same criteria
- Rather than expanding the number of choices, select three representative options that answer the same question.
- Objectively compare them using the same criteria: recognizability/visibility, relevance/alignment, and originality.
Design Communication and Fine-Tuning Tips
- Turn intuition into a testable hypothesis: When a style or idea feels appealing, write down why and check whether that reason aligns with the original goal.
- Compare texture and tone: Line art, craft styles, character-based approaches, and other visual textures affect how clearly the message is communicated.
- Test at mobile and small sizes: Confirm that relationships and contrast remain clear at the actual feed size, removing unnecessary visual elements.
