Isomorphic Labs branding
Isomorphic Labs’ brand identity focuses on connecting the precision of AI-based drug development with the organic qualities of life sciences.
1. Core Branding Concept: Symmetry and Reconstruction
- Visualizing Isomorphism: In keeping with the company name ‘Isomorphic’ (structurally the same), the core motif is the similarity between pixels/cubes, the smallest units of digital computing, and molecular/protein structures in nature.
- Organic Dynamic System: Rather than remaining fixed forms, the brand symbol and typeface adopt a motion system in which they can combine, disassemble, and reconstruct as needed, clearly expressing the flexibility of ever-evolving AI algorithms.
2. Formal Graphic Elements
- 3D Grid Modules: Cube pieces placed on a precise grid create a mathematical and exact impression.
- Natural Shadows and Texture: By giving virtual box forms realistic dimensionality and soft shadows, the design creates a physical sense of connection from digital technology to actual biomaterials and the medical field.
3. Color Palette & Typography
- Cyan & Teal Gradient: The blue-toned gradient applied to the cubes expresses both the coolness of advanced data technology and the vitality unique to life sciences.
- Dedicated Custom Grid Typeface: By applying the same cube-module-based grid to numbers and letters, the visual tone remains consistent from the main symbol to the detailed text.
