Flexmatch Rebranding
1. Brand Background and Challenges
- Background: Flexmatch is a service that streamlines discovery and matching between brands and creators. Through the rebranding, the key task was to intuitively show how the new identity works across actual digital touchpoints (PC/mobile landing pages, service deck, etc.).
- Problems to Solve
- Moving Away from AI Technology Clichés: If the brand simply presents itself as an “AI service,” its brand language can easily become similar to others. Therefore, rather than the technology itself, the focus was placed on the experience of how easy and fast the creator discovery process is.
- Preventing Visual Confusion: In an environment where creator imagery is strong, a visual system was needed so that brand graphics would not compete with content, but instead cleanly organize the exploration-matching structure.
2. Core Design Concept and Symbols
- Compass: It suggests the optimal direction in a dim state, symbolizing the standard and direction of exploration.
- Sparkle: It symbolizes the discovery of possibility and the intuitive certainty felt when finding the right match.
- Experience Flow Design: The structure of exploration > discovery > connection was directed so that it would be intuitively embodied not through text-centered explanation, but through the screen’s structure and movement, such as cards, badges, data structures, and key visual motion.
3. Visual & Experience System Expansion
- Consistent Domain Expansion: Based on the main PC landing page, the same graphic language was applied to the creator mobile landing page, service deck, and About Us to maintain one consistent experience.
- Minimizing the Implementation Gap through Prototyping: Scroll transitions, card motion, and key visual motion were carefully produced as motion prototypes so that the design intent would not be distorted during the actual development stage.
4. Overall Evaluation and Meaning
- Shift from Function-Centered to Experience-Centered: Beyond the limitations of a technology-based category, a brand foundation centered on the user experience of “the pleasure of fast-paced exploration and discovery” was built.
- BX-UI Integration: This is a BX case designed so that symbolism (visuals) and interface behavior (UI) are connected through the same principle, allowing the brand identity to continue seamlessly across diverse digital touchpoints.
