KT Visual Identity Renewal
1. From 40 Years of Heritage to an AI Company
KT, which has built telecommunications infrastructure, visualized its transition beyond a traditional telecom company into a future-oriented AI tech company.
- The existing CI heritage was not erased; it was reinterpreted into forms and movements suited to a new technological environment.
- While keeping the familiar identity, it more clearly reveals the direction and scalability of the brand's future.
- The center of the change was placed not on a single new logo, but on a brand transformation that changes the company's character and the entire experience.
2. Flag and Signal Flow
By connecting a flag with the invisible flow of signals, a flexible visual motif unique to KT was created.
- A flag whose form and direction change depending on the wind symbolizes a brand that continuously changes in response to its environment.
- Flow·Transition·Curve together express connection and expansion, flexibility of change, and warmth toward people.
- The flow of the network and signals is visualized through three-dimensional light, organic curves, and rhythmic movement.
- The technical foundation of a telecommunications company naturally extends into the AI era's 'Intelligence Flow.'
3. KT Red Expanded with Light and Energy
KT's signature color expands not as a fixed red surface, but as light and energy crossing space and screens.
- Purple, blue, and teal were added around Red, and translucent layers, light bloom, and glass-like materials were combined.
- While maintaining the precision of advanced technology, it creates an impression that is not cold.
- Three-dimensional and motion expressions using Blender 3D and After Effects more clearly show the flow of identity on digital screens.
- Even in still graphics, curves and gradients leave the lingering trace of the same movement.
4. A Brand System Operated Repeatedly
A system that can be practically operated was created by connecting the principles of form and color to typography, icons, spaces, and physical production materials.
- The dedicated typeface KT Flow and the AI icon generation system expand sub-brands and service-specific expressions within the same principles.
- Instead of creating graphic assets from scratch each time, they can continuously proliferate with consistent rules.
- The same curves and color tones continue across office signage, media walls, business cards and stationery, and digital interfaces.
- Although the expression differs by medium, the brand impression of 'flow' is not interrupted.
